\u2022 CRAFTA\u00ae is a training program planned for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with temporomandibular, craniomandibular and craniofacial problems in addition to headache and facial pain.<\/p>\n
\u2022 CRAFTA\u00ae training program is a patient-oriented training program and has an intense theoretical content. It has a content that can exceed the expectations of all participants in the training.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Other clinical patterns covered in the course are headaches, whiplash, and vestibular dysfunction.<\/p>\n
\u2022 CRAFTA\u00ae Basic Training includes CRAFTA\u00ae 1st, 2nd, 3rd Modules.<\/p>\n
CRAFTA\u00ae Basic Training Content<\/p>\n
It focuses on the evaluation and management of the craniomandibular-fascial region and its functional relationship. In this training, participants will learn the pain mechanisms of cranio-mandibular structures, the function of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the neurophysiological, biomechanical and functional relationships of the cervical spine. Topics mainly include subjective and physical assessment of the temporomandibular joint and treatment techniques. The training includes an up-to-date review of neurobiological and anatomical information regarding TMJ function.7<\/p>\n
Various clinical syndromes such as bruxism (teeth grinding), clenching, neuralgias and automandibular syndrome are also included in the training program. During the training, in addition to an intensive theoretical explanation, practical applications for treatment will be made.<\/p>\n
For the craniofacial region, students will learn to identify and recognize clinical cases as well as develop clinical skills for the assessment and management of all structures of this region within the defined clinical assessment model.<\/p>\n
Training also includes a comprehensive review of the function, anatomy, biomechanical properties, pathology, evaluation and treatment of the craniofacial region. Participants will increase their knowledge on the evaluation and treatment of patients with craniofacial pain and dysfunction. Subsequently, more emphasis will be placed on pain mechanisms, neuroanatomy, neurodynamics, and cranial nervous system treatment.<\/p>\n
In addition, the training will highlight specific assessment and management strategies of the neuro\/visceros cranium and will cover in detail current neuropathic pain, specific tests, clinical modeling and pathologies of all cranial nerves. Mechanical sensitivity classification model and special cranial nerve tests will also be included in this training. During the training, practical case presentations will be made on the patient.<\/p>\n
