SEAS is the abbreviation of “Scientific Exercises Approach to Scoliosis”. It is one of the treatment concepts accepted from scoliosis treatment all over the world. The training lasts for a total of 3 days and at the end of the training, those who pass the final exam are entitled to receive the SEAS accreditation. Within the SEAS training, corrective exercises for scoliosis, simplified self-correction methods for practice in daily life, barce practices, cognitive behavioral approach and clinical cases are emphasized. It is based on a specific form of autocorrection (called active self-correction) associated with it. Exercises are taught to be incorporated into activities of daily living. The SEAS approach is combined with a cognitive-behavioral approach to the patient and family to maximize adherence to treatment.

Exercise therapy plays a key role in the treatment of scoliosis. The purpose of SEAS exercises is to prevent or at least delay the brace and to prevent the increase in curvature.

CORRECT exercises to be performed during this period are of great importance in order to prevent all the side effects that the corset may cause, to increase the function and to maintain the spine stability in patients using corsets.

Why learn the SEAS approach?
Evidence-based treatment approach.
SEAS treatment approach, used treatment protocols and exercise programs have emerged as a result of many years of research.
Treatment protocols suitable for the patient,
The exercise program consists of exercises adapted to the type and degree of scoliosis, the exercise programs used in SEAS protocols.

Free Software Access Over the Internet
ISICO has developed a software that includes hundreds of SEAS exercises that you can access over the internet. With SEAS training, you will learn how to use this software and what the key is, to select and adapt exercises to the individual needs of the patient.
