Position in the iTHRUST Clinical Concept
The Professional level represents the second step of the iTHRUST Clinical Concept. It builds directly on the Practitioner foundations, expanding both the technical spectrum and the clinical reasoning.
Main Goals
• Deepen understanding of anatomy, neurophysiology, and pain models (nociceptive, neuropathic, nociplastic, psychogenic).
• Introduce and apply HV (High Velocity) and CR (Capsular Release) techniques alongside HVLA.
• Develop clinical evaluation, patient framework and management.
• Integrate thrust techniques into a structured pain management approach.
• Explore the role of the psychological and neuroendocrine dimensions of pain in collaboration with a clinical psychologist.
Learning Outcomes
• Conduct a clinical evaluation and differential diagnosis.
• Evaluate indications/contraindications with greater accuracy.
• Select the most effective treatment strategy.
• Apply the full spectrum of thrust techniques (HVLA, HV, CR).
• Manage complex patients through case-based reasoning.
