Andreas Maassen

Andreas Maassen is a well-known and experienced osteopath and physiotherapist, recognized both in Germany and internationally. He completed his five-year osteopathy training at the IFAO (Institut für angewandte Osteopathie) and was officially granted the title of “Osteopath” in accordance with the WPO Hessen regulations. He is also a licensed naturopathic practitioner (Heilpraktiker).

In 2024 and 2025, he was named one of “Germany’s Recommended Therapists” by FOCUS Gesundheit magazine.

Expertise and Educational Background

  • 1986: Graduated from high school (Abitur)

  • 1987–1991: Studied Physiotherapy at Hogeschool Heerlen in the Netherlands — Bachelor of Science

  • 1995–2000: Five-year part-time osteopathy training at IFAO in Düsseldorf

  • 2000: Successfully completed osteopathy training

  • 2001: Awarded the title Osteopath D.O. after submitting a thesis on
    “The effects of gallbladder drainage techniques in women during the perimenopausal period”

  • 2013: Officially recognized as an Osteopath by the State of Hesse (in accordance with WPO-Osteo)

  • 2016: Licensed as a Heilpraktiker by the Düsseldorf Health Authority
